Timothy J. Barbier Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Tim Barbier reunited with his dad in Heaven on Thursday, Jan 14, 2021, at the age of 64.
Tim was a lifelong resident of Assumption Parish, a graduate of Assumption High School, Nicholls State University, and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He practiced Indigent Law in addition to his private practice in Napoleonville for many years. He was very active in the Napoleonville Community and was an ongoing supporter of the local basketball programs.
Tim is survived by his beloved companion Kim Zeringue, his mother, Selma Barbier, his sisters, Sheila Barbier Cambeilh (Richard), Ellen Barbier Molina (Henry), Sally Barbier Weldon (Penn), Mary Barbier Bigelow (Ray), and his brother, Edward Barbier Jr. (Marie), numerous nieces and nephews and his cherished dog, Gigi.
Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Barbier; his father, Edward Barbier, Sr.; and his dear canine companion, Maycie.
Due to Coronavirus concerns and regulations, there will be a private service held for the immediate family only. There will be a Celebration of his Life at a later date for all his friends that were not able to attend the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have donations be made to the Timothy J. Barbier Memorial Fund, which will support the Assumption High School Basketball Program or have masses said in his name.
Online condolences can be given at www.landrysfuneralhome.com. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
