Timothy Nelson

Hello, My name is Shane Mackie, and I am raising this fundraiser in memory of my late stepfather, Tim Nelson. The donations made will go towards helping pay for the funeral and all associated costs moving forward. Tim was a Navy veteran, as well as a 14-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department. Tim took tremendous pride in his family, especially his Nieces, Nephews, and his Grandson. Tim was an avid Marvel and Star Wars fan, for which Kara would always jokingly call him a nerd. If you couldn't find him at home snuggling with his wife, you could find him out walking his 2 dogs which he referred to as his kids. Tim was one of the most compassionate and loving people you would ever meet, taking the phrase "Would give you the shirt off his back" to the greatest extent.
