Tim’s Kenyan Playground Building Trip
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Timothy Davies and I’m raising money for Play Action International in order to build a playground for schoolchildren in Kenya. I am interested in working with play action international because I haven't ever left the continent and would like to see more of the world, gain new experiences and give something back to the community. As an Archaeology student, experiencing cultures and other ways of living first hand will broaden my horizons. The trip will be for four weeks in Kenya and will have weekend activities such as a safari and rainforest hike, as well as opportunities to explore the local area. This trip will also give me a taste of working on a building site, manual labour skills are important for an Archaeologist to have experience with.
In conclusion this will be an excellent way to build character, experience culture and experience proper labour whilst doing something altruistic.
In order to complete this mission, I need to raise in the region of £3000. I would be very grateful for any support you’re able to give.
