UPDATE 8/21/24 “not fakin it”

UPDATE 8/16/24: He is making progress everyday! Yesterday he sat back at his computer and started posting car shows on his website and socials! NorCalCarCulture will be back in no time!

UPDATE 8/7/24: He is happily home and back in his recliner that he’s been dreaming about for weeks. Lots more therapy on the schedule and a long road ahead but he’s relieved to be sleeping in his own bed tonight. Thank you everyone!!

7/28/24 As many of you know, our dad, Tim Newey, unfortunately suffered from multiple strokes a few weeks ago. After spending some time in the ICU, he was transferred to an acute rehabilitation facility to help regain his independence.

Though we are incredibly optimistic that he will make a full recovery, his journey will be long and challenging. He is determined and eager to get better so he can get back out to all his favorite car shows.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love we have received during this difficult time and have started this page in response to so many looking for a way to support him through this journey

If you feel so inclined to donate, I know that helping minimize the burden of bills and travel costs will allow him to focus on recovery.
