Tin Top Bar and Grill Employee Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello,
I am Michelle and I am trying to help our local community members who have lost their place of employment due to a terrible fire at our one and only local bar and grill. Tonopah is a very small community west of the Valley with no streetlights and 2 traffic lights containing a lot of dirt roads with few amenities. We are tight nit community and stick together and help each other out the best we can. There are now multiple people who have been employed there for years that are now left unemployed and may be limited on employment opportunities in our small community. Our goal is to help these families during this terrible time so they can all work on finding employment and not stress about how they are going to feed their families, animals let alone pay their bills. The Tin Top Bar and Grill located at 37901 W. Salome Hwy, Tonopah, AZ has been around for over 30 years and multiple local generations have made this their familys weekly night out go to or a place to go relax and have a cold one. Tin Top is a hot spot for motorcyclists to stop and have lunch or dinner at as it’s located along Salome Hwy and the views during the ride out here in the desert are amazing. The owner at the Tin Top facilitates a yearly chili cook off for a local organization, allows the community groups to host meetings and small events there, puts together an amazing free Halloween haunted house for the kids in the community among many other things. Tin Top is located near the Palo Verde Nuclear plant and has fed Outage workers for many years and changes their hours to serve breakfast to the men and woman who work at the plant. If you can spare even a dollar or food donations it will all help these families in need at the end of the day. Please keep the owner, employees and their families in your prayers during this difficult time. Thank you.
A little “about us” from their website:
Head west of the Valley into the painted desert and discover this hidden treasure. The Tin Top Bar & Grill has been many things through time. Buildings on this property have burned to the ground at least twice. The now family restaurant and local night time bar was once called the Boondocks and Yellow Canary. Once you lay eyes on the building you know right away why it has been called the Tin Top for well over 30 years. Tin Top currently serves locals, travelers, and the many workers in the area. The watering hole is also a prime ride stop for motorcycle enthusiasts. Tonopah, Arizona was a new life for many homesteaders in the early 1900’s. Story goes, there has been a place to hitch your horse and have a drink on this land for longer than Arizona has been a state. Gold rush hunters passed through searching for direction and veined gifts from God. Just imagine the old cowboys, natives, and adventurers who have stopped in and enjoyed a warm meal or cold drink (if they were lucky enough to have ice!) The deep conversations, moving life moments, and fights shared on this desert dirt. Come eat and drink and feel the old wild west energy for yourself! Be sure to come check us out on one of our “Outage Breakfast mornings.” April and October open at 6 am for night shift relief and hot breakfast meals for all to enjoy!
