Tina and The Lobley Family
Donation protected
Tina Lobley walks the world gently, she rarely asks for much and gives all of herself to her family and her faith. You might hear people say, she is pretty, sweet, petite, has great style, she is an amazing wife, a doting Mother, committed to her faith and the list goes on... Oh and we can't forget the fierce side of her, the one that's unexpected at first glance and takes us all by surprise. The one that kills a Murph challenge, runs half marathons, wins races, inspires her family to show their strengths and so much more.
In July of 2019, She and Ethan (their 7 yr old at the time) each ran and won the 5k race in their classes. It was a day of excitement, living on top of the world, pushing their bodies to their limits and celebrating success. In early October of 2019, within thirty days of her diagnosis, they found themselves all running a 5k for Ostomy Awareness. This time it was a different kind of race, a race against time, a race against "IT" and a race towards Life. She, her husband Jimmie, oldest son Alex and youngest Ethan only had a tiny dose of what was to come.
The world would forever be changed for the Lobley Family, but the fighting spirit, kick butt mentality and family bond has never changed, in fact it's only grown stronger. From being cleared to being re-diagnosed twice and all of the really, really hard stuff that comes in between, Tina's courage is intact, her heart is strong, her beliefs are grounded and she has Soldiers behind her to remind her if she ever feels weak. As she embarks upon the natural part of her journey, the costs are high. They have fought financial support since the beginning of their journey, but in order to continue, there is no choice. No one ever plans for this type of experience to become a part of the budget that supports their family! So, we, those who love her and her family, are asking the community to come together.
PLEASE JOIN, in honor of our friend Tina, to remind her that her power abounds all things and that she has an Army of hearts behind her. Remind her that we care about her life and we will all work together to watch her keep living it.
