Tina Anzalone vs Cancer Round 2

Tina Anzalone won round one of beating a very rare form of cancer!   She endured surgery, radiation treatment and extensive testing including multiple MRIs.  
She has been making the long drive from Monroe to Houston every 3 months for her required care.  Up until recently, all her tests have come back “NED” (no evidence of disease).

Unfortunately, her last check up revealed a suspicious mass in her left lower lung. It is located next to a large blood vessel so they are unable to safely biopsy the mass.  She is scheduled to undergo surgery on April 9th to remove the mass.  She is working with pilots for patients to get free flights to Houston for the surgery. They only offer flights for patients who are having a procedure. She will have to continue travelling to Houston in order to see the specialists at MD Anderson due to her rare form of cancer. 

There are direct 1 hour flights between Monroe and Houston.  These flights are expensive; however, being able to fly instead of drive would reduce Tina's stress and facilitate her recovery.  Insurance doesn’t cover all of her medical expenses for her treatment and ongoing care.  Her bills and expenses for treatment are quickly adding up.  

Tina has spent her entire career serving and helping the people of Monroe.  She has saved and advocated for abused & neglected animals and served many years for the city of Monroe. The mayor of Monroe declared April 1st as Tina Anzalone day to honor all she has done for the city and people of Monroe. Now Tina needs our help and support.
