Tina Chatters Funeral Cost
Donation protected
On Saturday, September 12th, our family received the devastating news that our dear Tina Chatters had passed away after a long illness and recent surgery. Tina was a friend to all - extremely loyal and devoted to those she loved. She was always checking in and ready to give her last to those in need; and always eager to support every and any cause or event she could.
Tina lived and worked on Nantucket for decades and recently moved to Texas to receive treatment and be closer to her family. Prior to her move, she was a familiar face in the community, working alongside many of us, volunteering as a coach at the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club and an attendee of every Whaler Basketball game. Unbeknownst to our family, her long illness caused a financial strain that resulted in her life insurance policy (that was set up in the event that this tragic day would come) lapsing.
Tina's request is to be laid to rest in Florida next to our late mother. We would like to honor this request and we are pleading for the support of her many friends and family to give her the home going she deserves.
Funds are needed to prepare her remains for transportation and for the actual transportation from Texas to Florida, and also for funeral and burial expenses.
As her younger sister, I, Bianca Brown, am tasked with carrying out her final wishes and will be in charge of ensuring that all funds raised go directly towards her home going.
A memorial service is currently being planned and will be announced shortly.
