Tina Delgado's triumph over GBS&Multiple Myeloma.

 Our family started this GoFundMe for our mother Tina Delgado who is currently recovering from Guillain-Barre syndrome for the second time and was also recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Her first time being diagnosed with GBS was in 2007. The doctors told her that's it's rare to get it once but even more rare to get it twice in a lifetime yet she was diagnosed with GBS for the second time in November of 2022. She was paralyzed and could not move the lower half of her body so paramedics transported her to Salt Lake Regional. After spending a little over a week at Salt Lake Regional on a breathing tube and multiple other devices the hospital ran out of options to help her so they recommended that we approve her to be transported to the University of Utah because they would have more advanced treatments for her. She is currently needing to relearn everything from holding utensils for eating to learning how to lock her knees so she can stand. Recently she was also diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer on top of all this and that diagnosis is still new to us and we're trying to understand and cope with it since none of us have heard of it prior to our mom being diagnosed with it. We decided to start a GoFundMe for her so she'd have the ability to start her life over. The funds will be used to help her get on her feet and become stable once she is released from the hospital.
