Tina Harper -Breast Cancer Warrior

My beautiful sister-in-law, Tina Harper, was diagnosed with breast cancer right before Christmas 2022 after finding a lump in her left breast. After many Dr. appointments, even though the doctors had only found cancer in that breast, Tina and my brother decided that it would be best for her to have a double mastectomy. To make a long story short, Tina's first doctor was unwilling to do this surgery. After a second opinion, they found out that this should have been the plan from the start. On March 9th, she had her surgery. As results came in from her surgery they found out that the cancer was far more spread than they had been able to see on previous tests. They found so many tumors in her left breast that they stopped counting. Also, there was tissue found in her right breast that had the potential to develop into cancer. All of these results led to a second surgery to remove more skin from her chest. In the middle of all this going on, my brother was offered a better job with better insurance and pay. Tina will start chemo as soon as she has healed from the second surgery - with Tina going through treatment and unable to work, it only made sense for my brother to take this job, even though the timing wasn't the greatest. For a brief period, they will be without insurance, so I wanted to start this fundraiser to help them get through this rough patch. Tina has been such a trooper through all this and my brother is one of the hardest workers I know. We appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!
