Tina Luke Memorial Fund for Single Mothers

In memorial to Tina Luke's life, my dear mother, we've established this site for a worthy cause, to make a donation to a  charity that supports single mothers. We're still in the process of selecting a charity and will post the name once we've decided.

Early in life, Tina was a single mother with two children and struggled with daycare, finding employment and feeding her family.  Her sisters and parents helped her by taking care of my sister and I at various times as she worked at whatever jobs she could find.  Mom would eventually get married and had long career from which she retired and was blessed to have a loving family and many great and great-great grandchildren.  She was a true American success story.  We've had others in my family that were also single mothers, so this fund is meaningful to our family beyond just my mother's own experiences.
