Tina Porter’s Brain Tumor Fund
Donation protected
On Friday April 12 Tina was taken to Bloomington Hospital because she was in severe pain and couldn’t feel her left side. She was transported from Bloomington Hospital to Methodist Hospital. While waiting to be seen she had several seizures. After doing an MRI and CT scan it was found that she has a 2 inch by 2 inch meningeal brain tumor. Today, April 15, Tina underwent brain surgery and the tumor was removed. The surgery went very well and there were no complications. We will have to wait until the next MRI to see if they were able to remove the entire tumor.
If you know Tina, you know that she isn’t one to ask for handouts and she isn’t asking for it now. She lives alone and works her butt off to make ends meet. She is a single woman and her income is the only income paying the bills. My family and I are trying to raise funds to help her pay her bills while she is recovering. We feel that she shouldn’t have to worry about making ends meet while she is healing from brain surgery. She will be in the hospital for at least a week and then recovering hopefully at home for a minimum of a month. All funds will be used to pay for her house, utilities, medical bills and any other expenses that may occur. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
