Thank you for your patience and kindness.

Yesterday afternoon, Tinkerbell’s family had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to her after her health continued to decline.

Her labs were highly suggestive of FIP, she was having difficulty breathing due to her critical anemia, and sadly, she also tested positive for FeLV.

Her prognosis was heavily discussed with two Veterinarians at Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital, and due to her terminal illness diagnosis, the severity of her symptoms, and when medical options to reduce her distress were no longer being helpful, it was decided to help make her as comfortable as possible and end her suffering.

Tinkerbell was made as comfortable as possible, and humanely assisted to cross the ️ bridge a little after 2pm yesterday 1/14/24 after 16 hours in ICU.

Thank YOU all for caring and for your kind support. Tinkerbell had a rough start of life but knew absolute love her last years and especially in her last moments of life.

Thank you to all the people who sent
in donations for Tinkerbell’s medical care. It is greatly appreciated.

Thank you One Love Animal Rescue and Sanctuary for helping Tinkerbell when she needed it the most and doing everything possible to give her a chance.

There is so much more we are thankful for, especially for the person that stepped in to provide medical foster care for her FIP earlier this week, for the people offering to help with her FIP medications, and other rescue directors messaging to offer their help with her FIP and other things.

Thank YOU.

You matter, Tinkerbell.

Update: Tinkerbell is still at emergency hospital on oxygen since last night. It has been difficult for them to complete all testing without exacerbating her respiratory distress.

Medical Emergency.
Owner is struggling financially and cannot afford more vet care.
Please see labs from her vet visit 1/10/24.

Tinkerbell is in respiratory distress and is being rushed to Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital in Newport, CA right now.
Here is a video of her a little while ago.

She’s about 6/8 years old, spayed.
Became ill last week and was taken to the vet and had labwork done.

Tinkerbell is a former homeless semi feral cat who was being abused and rocks thrown at her.

The person who helped her get spayed and off the street, has kept her safe inside along with several other pets all rescued from the streets that ended up staying with them because they couldn’t find homes or rescue.

The person spent their last cash in the bank at Tinkerbell’s vet visit on 1/10/2024. Care credit was denied. She just started a new job so doesn’t get paid until a couple weeks and is struggling.

Please help. I will update with all invoices and progress soon.
