Tinley's Seizure Alert Dog

Tinley Kate is a 3 ½ year old girl who first started experiencing seizures when she was a little over 1 year old and over time, her seizures have become more aggressive and more frequent! Seizure medications seemed to help at first but it was short lived! Tinley now experiences seizures even while she takes her medications.

 We are fundraising to help pay for her Seizure Alert Service Dog. She has been approved by an organization that will be training her dog to alert to her seizures before they occur and therefore allow us time to prepare for the seizure and make sure she is in a safe position so she does not get hurt while seizing. Her dog will also be trained to help her after her seizures by being her Seeing Eye dog. After her seizures, she experiences temporary blindness and cannot see. She is also very limp and cannot walk or have any mobility without assistance. Once Tinley's dog is partnered with her, she will be able to sleep in her own bed and in her own bedroom without the fear of her having a seizure  without the fear of her having a seizure and us not knowing about it. This dog is going to go everywhere she goes and is a tool that can potentially save her life! Any donation you can make is one step towards possibly saving her life!
