Tinu's Cancer Tx Journey: From Texas to California

Throughout this battle to get Tinu back into remission our greatest obstacle, to stabilizing her health, has been the outrageous cost for cancer treatments in Texas. 

After months of discussion with family, friends and the team helping to keep her afloat during her current sabbatical for chemotherapy; Tinu's decided that she needs to move to a state where she can receive the cancer treatments she needs to stay alive at a reasonable cost

Currently in Texas, a state that never enacted the Affordable Care Act, her care cost about $13k a month. This simply isn't sustainable. Especially on top of her other costs of living, supporting her 4 children, and the doctors ordering her to stop working so she can rest. 

Today we're kicking off a fundraiser to crowdfund the money needed so Tinu can move to California!

This fundraiser has a deadline. By the end of September we have to have travel costs, moving expenses and the funds needed to get her into a safe apartment/home in a location near the medical care she needs.

Without this move Tinu won't live thru the year. So although it is very stressful to move while she's also trying to rest and heal, this is her only option for survival.

Our Team is very busy fundraising and keeping Tinu's business going throughout her sabbatical. But we will still strive to post weekly updates on her progress and the progress of our #CrisisCrowdfund efforts.
