Tiny Houses for the Seattle Homeless Community
Hi! Our names are Luke and Josh. We are seniors in high school, and we are building two tiny houses for the Seattle homeless community through the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI.) We built one last year, and it was a fantastic experience all around.
We need to raise $12000 for materials, such as lumber, drywall, roofing, windows, flooring, paint, nails and doors.
We both care a lot about homelessness, and we think that LIHI is a great organization that helps this massive problem we are facing as a society. Your support means the world not only to us, but more importantly to the individuals and/or families that now will have a safe place to call home.
Our goal is to start working on the project on Monday, July 19th. Any amount you can contribute helps build these two homes. We greatly appreciate your generosity. Any excess money will be given directly to LIHI to use on more tiny house projects.
We are also working with important local sponsors, such as Milwaukee Tools, and we thank them for their support.
Thank you so much. Luke & Josh
