Tiny Eco Passive Home Project

Donation protected

Hello All,
We started an initiative with a goal to build a Tiny Eco Passive Home for a displaced family who have lost their homes due to the floodings in Bulgaria.
The Project:The goal of this project is to provide a better and healthier living space for a family in need. It will also demonstrate that small eco-homes can be both practical and affordable. The tiny home project has a base area of 42 square meters (430 square feet). The house will be supported by a wooden frame and insulated with straw bales. Local materials will be used as much as possible. Many of the materials such as clay and stone will be attained from the building site itself. Recycled materials will be used for the interior and exterior of the building. The supply of potable water will be provided from a well; rainwater will be collected and used to flush the toilet and irrigate the garden.

The fundraising:
We launched a campaign to raise funds for the project's implementation. Our goal is 12,000 dollars. The funds from this campaign will be used to pay for the building permits materials necessary for construction. The tiny home will be built solely by volunteers – people from the community as well as building professionals who would like to learn about sustainable building construction.

We thank you all for helping us to realize this project!
