Tiny Miracles
Tiny Miracles stems from a deep-rooted belief that our generation must and has the power to help achieve United Nations SDG #1: “end poverty in all its manifestations by 2030”. It is our ambition to enable one million people out of poverty by 2030 and inspire others to do the same. The Tiny Miracles approach developed over the last 10 years has successfully gotten 2,500 people on the path out of poverty.
The imminent crisis threatens the life of these people because of potential starvation. This will undo the constructive work we have done and will set us years back on the path towards one million. In the Western world we use the current government bail outs to prevents these businesses and initiative from falling apart. In India there is no such thing.
We need to act now to save these people and to keep a shot at getting one million out of poverty. We are trying to overcome this lockdown period for the communities and then continue our work of getting people out of poverty and ensure they stay out of poverty.
