Tish’s honor walk
Donation protected
Hi my name is Dawn, I am raising funds on behalf of my sister (Tish mother) to share my neice Tish story. On Monday March 27, Tish woke up feeling ill. We called the EMT they took her to the ER, once myself and David arrived at the hospital they had us to wait until they got her situated. Once we got in her room. I called her name & she did not respond I knew something was wrong . She started having seizures, the nurses came they did a CT scan & discovered she had a brain bleed, she was transported to another hospital in Savannah, Ga . Once in Savannah the doctors informed us Tish can not endure a surgery but they can deliver her baby girl by c section. On March 28 Tish was pronounced unalive but she was kept on a ventilator because she wanted to be an organ donor and that was the honor walk that’s being shared via social media. Tish also had Moya moya which she had a surgery in 2018 to correct the blockage. Tish fought tirelessly to live a full life being an advocate for sickle cell anemia disease. Tish leave behind a 2 yr old son Kairo & newborn Kassidy. In her last selfless act on earth she gave in death as she is given life.
Many of you asked how can you help or what can you do we’ve set up Trust Funds for Tish children to continue her legacy you may donate what your heart desire. Tish you are our hero no more pain. #Sicklecellwarrior #organdonorsavelives #Spreadawareness #Tishhonorwalk
