Titan Community Food Pantry
Donation protected
The Titan Community Food Pantry was created by a group of concerned group of people in the Gadsden City Schools family. When our schools closed suddenly due to the risk of COVID-19, part of our family became at risk to be without food. To help fill the need, our group banded together and in less than 1 weeks time collected, from our friends and neighbors, enough to feed 318 hungry children.
Now that schools have been forced to close until June 5, the need for food has grown. Many kids rely on school for more than just an education. School provides them a source of food and comfort. Until their life gets back to normal, we hope and pray that we can help provide them with some of the things they desperately need.
Our goal is to provide nourishment in the form of
3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, & 3 snacks for 150 children weekly.
To do this for the remaining 8 weeks of school will require approximately $8500 ($7/bag x 150 kids x 8 weeks).
Any donation/contribution will be greatly appreciated and will be used to help children and homebound families in our community.
Remember, TOGETHER we are the TITANS!
