Titanosaur Needs the Indie Community!

Hey, guys, it’s Christina of vox + stix and vox + guest. Many of you know Geoff of Titanosaur from the indie community. Maybe not as many of you know that Geoff, who has Marfan Syndrome, had been in and out of the hospital and on the heart transplant list for years.

Geoff was finally fortunate enough to receive a new heart on March 20th, just three days after we taped his vox + guest interview. While this is obviously wonderful news, his recovery has been extremely and unexpectedly difficult and slow going. He’s still in the ICU and struggling in many ways. While I want to convey exactly how difficult this time is for Geoff and his family, I also want to respect their privacy by not giving too many details. Suffice it to say it’s not great and they really need all the support they can get.

Geoff and his family are in dire straits financially right now. While his wonderful wife Pauline is doing everything she can to keep their family afloat, Geoff hasn’t been medically cleared to work in about two years. For a family of four, that’s catastrophic. As hard as Pauline tries, it’s literally impossible for her to work enough jobs to make enough money to scrape by while also taking care of Geoff and their two kids.

Money is especially scarce right now between a transitional period in Pauline‘s main job and her need to be at the hospital to care for Geoff and at home to care for their kids all at once. I insisted on starting this GoFundMe for their family because this community takes care of its own.

Please, please give literally anything you can to help them. Every single dollar will make a huge difference and enable Geoff and Pauline to focus on his recovery and their family with less terror around being able to support themselves and stay in their home.
