TITLE Boxing Club Mountain View closed it’s doors due to the mandatory shutdown of non-essential businesses for the COVID-19 crisis on March 17, instantly dropping a healthy business to $0 revenue. The photo is from our Grand Opening in July of 2015. We love operating our club with our amazing staff and wonderful customers!
Owner Adrienne Rush is applying for stimulus package loans to help us make it through and to continue to pay staff as long as possible. We have eliminated the non-payroll costs that are cancellable and our landlord has given us a reduction in rent for April. We are grateful for these, and most of all we hope our local community (as well as the country and the world) weathers this crisis in the best possible way. We intend to re-open when the crisis has passed and to bring the club back to health. The stimulus package and reduction in rent helps, but will not be enough to keep us going.
Many people have asked if they can help, and so we are opening this campaign for those who are in a position to donate. We know many people have lost jobs and cannot contribute, and we do not want anyone to feel any pressure to donate. This is simply a place for those who have the means and desire to do so. Whether it is the amount of your monthly membership or something smaller, it will be welcome and will make a difference.
