Tiwha Needs Urgent Help, please read her story x

Tiwha's story..

It started as a normal game of fetch, as the family always do with 2 year old Tiwha running up and down the field chasing and collecting her stick. …… her daddy’s plea……She is such a fun-loving cheery dog, I couldn't imagine what was about to happen..

All of a sudden I heard a loud yelp and since then our lives will never be the same. I ran to her as fast as I could while she hobbled around struggling.

She had fallen down mouth-first on the stick, and it was stuck in her throat. I removed the stick immediately as she seemed to be struggling to breathe.

We took her to our vet who at first thought she had perhaps popped a small hole in her soft pallette. They then realised it was much more serious and upon inspection and scans at the Royal Dick Veterinary Hospital in Edinburgh it turns out Tiwha had torn a 3cm+ gash in her esophagus. This has been stiched and her wound drained and due to the extent of her injuries she will be feeding from a tube for at least the next 10 days. It will be a long road but we hope she will recover and get back to who she was..

This is incredibly hard to say but please if you have even 50p to spare, it would mean the world to Tiwha. Her hospital bills are likely to cost in excess of £7000 which we will struggle to afford, but the alternative didn't bear thinking about.
