TJ and Jalen Transplant Recovery

Hi everyone.
 My name is Meredith Mitchell. My cousin Earnest Taylor known as TJ who is 20 needed a Liver Transplant and my cousin Jalen Crimiel who is 29 was a match. Surgery took place on 11/8/22. I’m raising funds to help both families. Jalen who donated his liver will be recuperating at home with his parents and sister’s help. TJ had additional factors during surgery where an artery was severed and had to have his chest cracked open to stop bleeding. Again on the 9th another bleed occurred where surgery had to take place to stop the bleeding. Both young men will have months of healing to restore their lifestyle and will be unable to work for a period of time along with one of their parents needing to be available at all times. Jalen’s liver needs to regrow while TJ’s body will be going through accepting the transplant. TJ will need to be hospitalized possibly over a month with 3 to 4 months more of exclusive home healing. Both TJ and Jalen will be cared for by their parents to assure they heal properly without outside help that may cause contamination of space which could cause infection. Their parents will need to take off work so they could care for their sons. God has brought them this far through Grace and Mercy. Any help is some help.
