TJ Robotics

My name is Ida and I have been sponsoring the Thomas Jefferson high school robotics team for a few years now through my company. I am moving on to a new job, so I’m looking for new ways to help these kids through their competition season.

This team is made up of amazing kids that unfortunately do not have much funding backing them nor do they have the money (lmany families that attend this school qualify for free breakfast/lunch). They compete against much larger teams that have endless funding but that doesn’t damper their excitement to learn and compete. They are thankful for the food and snacks I bring so they have food to eat as they meet after school. We all know high school kids are constantly hungry. In addition to just the basics of snacks and meals for them, they need help with supplies and tools.

’My goal is to raise $2500 so that I can continue to support them with not only basic needs but some of the extras they need to build their robot for competition in March.

Any donation amount is much appreciated and will go to this team. I will show them all the donations/comments of encouragement as well.
