Fundraiser for TJ Ison

My name is Steve Duncan, I am close family friends of Steve Ison, his fiance Angel, and his sons from prior marriage to Becky Cox; Cole and TJ.
On Thursday May 11th TJ suffered a tragic event that will require the best medical care available and long term health care that will require not only financial support for the family, but also an extensive amount of time away from the jobs required to support their family. I am setting up this account in hopes that the friends of The Ison family and the boys mother, Becky Cox, will come together to help ensure that nothing is left to chance and that the Ison's will be able to maintain the support that TJ will require.
On May 11th, 17 year old TJ suffered an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) of his brain. Believed by doctors to be a condition he was born with.
2 weeks shy of his 18th birthday and high school graduation, TJ was leaving school when he felt a numbing of the right side of his body. A quick reaction on his part sent him returning to school where the EMT was called. Upon TJ's insistence and the insistence of Steve, TJ was transported to Children's hospital in Columbus, Ohio. While in route to the hospital, TJ's conditioned worsened resulting in seizures and eventually becoming unresponsive.
Upon his arrival to Childrens, the neuro team took drastic measures to save his life and removed part of his skull to reduce the pressure in his head. TJ is currently in a drug enduced coma to keep his brain calm and pressures down while the top vascular surgeons from OSU and Childrens develop a plan to repair/remove the AVM in the coming weeks. Once the surgery has been completed, the recovery will be long as the amount of damage done has yet to be determined. In the meantime, a nurse has been assigned to TJ full time along with a team of neuro specialists.
Steve and Angel, along with Becky and Cole have not left the hospital since the event, and due to the many scares that have occurred along the way, intend to be there with TJ throughout this journey towards surgery and recovery.
Please help me in ensuring that Steve, Angel and their family are able to continue to be by TJ's side as any of us would want to be if it were our child.
In the meantime, please also keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
