Rebuild the Himalayan Rabbit Farm
Donation protected
In March of 2015, a team of four MBA students from Thunderbird University visited Nepal to help a budding entreprenuer expand his rabbit farm. This Nepalese social entrepreneur had the crazy idea to help local farmers increase villiage income by raising rabbits as meat and selling it locally. The team was successful in helping the farm grow and demand was increasing quickly, until the earthquake hit Kathmandu in late April. The farm was destroyed. The Thunderbird team now wants to help rebuild the farm to quickly put the locals back to work and help feed those affected by the earthquake. Every dime raised for this effort will go to the entrepreneur, named Ujjwal, with continued business guidance from the Thunderbird team. We started this project to help build a business, now we are committed to help the people of Nepal after the tragedy. The link is a video presentation of the efforts before the earthquake. Thank you for supporting the effort directly!
