Help for the Hribars
Donation protected
My name is Margaret McGown and I and some of my family members are friends of Donna and Bill Hribar. On Friday, November 25, 2022, their equipment barn caught on fire. They were able to get some things out, but the barn is a total loss. Donna and Bill are hardworking members of the Cooperstown/Fly Creek community, and they have had a rough year. Donna is on disability from her job at the Cooperstown Central School because of knee replacement surgery that did not go well. She has been hospitalized several times and is still undergoing treatment. Bill works full time for the Town of Otsego, and he and his son run the family farm. The goal is to raise funds to purchase the supplies needed to build a new barn and to replace the external wood burning furnace that was heating their home.
Donna and Bill have become second parents to my grandson. They have helped to teach him the value of hard work, how to hunt safely, and how to be a responsible young man. Our family would now like to help them through this difficult time. Your assistance will be appreciated. Thank you!
