T.J.’s Birthday Benefit

My name is Shannon Watkins and on September 13,2023 my life was shattered. The greatest fear of all Mothers became my reality. The loss of a child to suicide leaves an incurable hole in your entire existence. Going through this first year without him has been incredibly difficult. The day I most feared, his 31st birthday is quickly approaching. Instead of grieving his loss I want to celebrate who he was. Funny, smart, absolutely devoted to family, and incredibly generous to anyone in need. We would like to raise money to be given in his name to help mental health awareness and to aid families in need in our community. For anyone who knew and loved our son and to people who may be going through a similar situation, I feel your pain. Let’s take a negative and do something positive to hopefully prevent someone else from going through this. All donations are so greatly appreciated.
