A child's struggle to learn the truth!

Hello everyone! You can call me Charlie! Since I was a little boy I have always had a fascination with the power of a good story!! All of these things that set up many heros and even more villains in the stories we all love, I got to watch so many people have character and story arcs of their own throughout life and how it changed and made them grow!..... Some also had differing arcs and fell into complete sin and suffering. It was these very changes and reactions in people growing up that had initially encouraged my own studies in the subjects I love!

Now here I am in my 30s at university studying psychology much older than anyone else juggling my studies, my own relationship, planning a wedding, my work life and being a father! In that little space of time between it all is my 15 minutes a day I get to write my stories and other art pieces such as illustrating, crafting, painting and music

WHY I am here: I'm fundraising because it is my dream to release some of my stories into the wild world and have them read and enjoyed more than anything else!

The first and easily the most important book I will be releasing is one most dear to me. It has become my baby which has the blood sweat, tears and pain of a hundred people involved to make it what it is today!

A Child's Resolve:

It's the story of how a Young princess searches for the truth of things after more than a decade had passed without any answers or explanation about her life thwarted at every opportunity simply because "She's a child" and mirroring this the perspective of the other characters stories whilst surviving a house of wolves and abuse, having no clue that their upbringing is far from the norm, what makes a person good or evil, and all whilst a monster is ruthlessly pursuing them.

This story was originally developed as a way to focus not just on the depression we can all suffer from in silence but also the pain of all the single parents out there in the world that try their best every single day. whilst following the young princesses progress through her own story of hurdles and close calls learning new ways to keep herself safe as a prisoner in her own home and more importantly as a young woman out in a world with darkness around every corner. This book has a large amount of realism and darker elements to it for a fantasy title, however it also includes a huge amount of love and compassion shining a bright light of hope on the characters lives both for the good and evil paths they may take.

I have written 2 seperate Fantasy stories and a series of children's books. The fantasy Stories are actually comprised of many real world situations I've seen and experienced with my own eyes but with a more pleasing fantasy asthenic to the darker themes including abuse, degradation, neglect, deceit, manipulation, Survival, starvation, kidnapping and more of which I am hoping it can help those who have suffered in a similar way to find some form of comfort knowing the characters in these stories that experienced these troubling subjects made it through the darkness. It goes without say these stories are aimed at young adults and up with those in adolescents and above able to enjoy them properly in my opinion.
