Support My Mom’s Fight With Breast Cancer

Hi :)

If you don’t know me, my name is Isabella Provenzano, daughter of Krista Michelle Provenzano. If you do know me or my mother already & are reading this, you may or may not be aware of her diagnosis with Breast Cancer in August of 2023.

She is currently undergoing chemotherapy as of February, after being put through what we were initially told would only be both radiation & physical therapy, so she has not been able to truly express her love language that we all love & enjoy… COOKING !!

My mom is, in simple words, a real life Barbie. From graduating culinary school, teaching herself investment skills to master entrepreneurship, leading her to owning/operating/managing a small business family food truck, as well as catering gigs on the side… Chef Krista has done it all AND more !

So with all that being said… appointments, testings, medications, treatments, procedures & all, is a lot. And insurance only covers so much.

She is a very proud Mama & wouldn’t ask if given the choice not to, but the day-to-day living expenses now are just as bad. With her fewer but double-doses of aggressive rounds of chemo, her heart is taking the brunt of it. Tachycardia is taking a toll with every injection, which will now add a cardiologist to her team of care specialists.

That’s why I created this GoFundMe, in lieu of my mama needing some extended kindness that is well deserved, sent her way. By hopefully getting the word out & telling her story as she fights to heal, Krista’s & her passion for the culinary arts will be back to serving So IL again.
