Hudson House Fire

As I was driving to Alabama on Friday March 1st for a quick visit, I walked into my mom's house to say hello and much to my shock and sadness my mom had just been informed that one of her best friends house (of 34 years) had just burned down. My mom rushed out of the house to go check on her friend and family. Upon arrival, her friend miraculously had made it out of the house although her beloved pets did not. Her husband and daughter arrived in the midst of the fire department still putting out the fire. Everything was destroyed except two family bibles. To God be all the Glory everyone was safe!

In coordination with this amazing faith filled family, I have asked for permission to bless them in this time of emergency and need with "go-fund me" account. Many have asked how can they help in some small way until they get back on their feet and I felt this was the best way we could all support and encourage them in this difficult time. I know God will restore them in all ways and give them beauty for ashes!

Isaiah 61:

...to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—

to bestow on them a crown of beauty

instead of ashes,

the oil of joy

instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise

instead of a spirit of despair.
