My name is Kristyna Valjaskova I am from the beautiful land of Czechoslovakia just as Tino was, as a family friend a “daughter” I would like to help my family in need, as financial Issues should be the last thing on their minds right now. I would like to raise the fund as it will pay for funeral services here in the US as we know there’s many that want to say their last goodbyes and the transport of Martins body back to his hometown Bardejov. His family will be coming with him to put him to his final piece. On their behave I’m asking for all the help, all the money that will be raised will go straight to the parents, Maria Hvizdova and Lubo Hvizda, via check, or cash what ever their preference. Again I’m trying to make it as painless as possible burring this difficult times. Thank you again for all your help and here little bit about Tino and his loving family. Martin (Tino) Hvizda was tragically taken away from us on Saturday September 16, 2017. Tino was pumping gas when he was shot. The killer then threw his dog from the vehicle and drove away. Tino and his family moved to the United States in 2003 from Slovakia. Tino's parents both worked two jobs to provide more opportunities for their children.Even through all this hard work they never lost sight of what truly mattered the most...family. Tino was an amazing artist with an eye for shapes and color. His dream was to someday have his paintings in a gallery so people could appreciate the world through his eyes. Tino's love for art was surpassed only by his love for his family, always making sure they were safe and watched over. Tino was a loving son who could light up his mothers face with a joke or a kiss on the cheek. By all means, this family was the "American Dream" until that Saturday night. Two weeks ago Tino shared a post on Facebook: "I will never forget where I come from, I will never forget who raised me, I will never forget the people who love me, I will never forget my God. I will always bless others, I will always give. I will always share joy and hope." The size of Tino's smile was eclipsed only by the size of his heart. The world became a little less colorful when we lost Tino. Please help us make his mother's last wish come true.....to take Tino back, back to his roots, back home.
