Both Jamie And Mary were invited to be part of the Bergen Tech Knights Girl's Soccer Team at the Disney Cup International run by the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida this July 12 through the 18th. Both girls have played soccer since first grade, as elementary and middle school students they played for the Cliffside Park Recreation Soccer, the Cliffside Park U-12 and U-14 Girl's Travel Team, the Cliffside Park U-12 and U-14 Girl's Indoor Soccer Team at the Teaneck Armory, the Cliffside Park Middle School Girl's Soccer Team, and now for the Bergen Tech Knights High School Girl's Soccer Team.
They have worked hard all their lives playing the sport they love and now have a chance to play in front of hundreds of people. To represent Cliffside Park and all of Bergen County on an international level. College recruiters from around the United States will be there to watch our girls try to win it all!
That's where you come in! The cost for each player to participate is $1,000.00 which includes airfare, hotel accommodations, food, and entrance fees into the tournament! The girls and their team have started fundraising in their school by selling spirit wear, bake sales, and car washes. But, on June 1st the balance of their deposits is due for the airfare and soon thereafter the balances of the hotel and entrance fees!
