Weight loss Journey

hey there! My names Nikki as some may know me, I am currently struggling with weight loss. I have tried diets which helped but I have had obstacle causing me to be where I am today! I have always cared for others, including raising my children alone and I thank god they have become amazing adults! Now I want to become more healthier so I can watch my grandkids grow up!

I have had thyroid cancer in 2009 where I had to get my thyroids removed on top of that I have also had a hysterectomy and after that had to have my bladder repaired from having it snipped in surgery durning the hysterectomy. After that surgery is when I was bed bound for 35 days causing me to be depressed and gaining my weight back.

with all that I have high blood pressure and other health issues causing life to be hard on me. On verge of diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, bad circulation in my legs. It makes my everyday chores hard at times.

im not trying to be Barbie doll size I am just asking for help to get the gastric sleeve to help me shed weight and be healthier. I feel with this surgery it will help with getting a jump start of loosing weight.

I have always gave my all to help anyone that came along my path and now I am letting my pride down asking my community to help me get to see 50 because I’m scared this weight will smother me!

yes I know it will take more work that will add to it and I am ready to put the extra effort in maybe I won’t be so tired.

I am asking for help to get closer to the goal for me to have the surgery!
