Chennai Flood Victims Fund

Chennai and other coastal areas in Tamil Nadu are currently reeling from extreme unseasonal rainfall and city-wide flooding. The city is deluged, people stranded, pushed out of their homes , and fighting for survival. Almost more than 200 people have lost their lives, and one of the largest cities in India (Tamil Nadu) has been declared a disaster zone, with the Indian Army, and local disaster relief professionals & common citizen volunteers aiding the relief effort. Thousands of relief workers are battling nature, infrastructure challenges and trying to rescue as many people as they can. Please help our brothers and sisters who needs your urgent help.

 Many lakhs of people have already been displaced and are in urgent need of our support. Ottawa Tamil Association will work with the organization that's doing the flood relief efforts in the ground and for rehabilitation work, medical aid, basic amenities, and food, water and clothing supplies for the flood-affected.

 The collected fund will go to  "Naam Tamilar Flood Victims Fund"
