Spay and Neuter stray cats in Bali, Indonesia

Every bit helps, together we save more lives.

God Bless! My name is Sayang, I'm new here and this is my first fundraising ever. I born and raised in Kerobokan, Badung Bali and have been resident in the United States. I travel back and forth to Bali at least twice a year and usually stay for 2 to 3 months.

I'm fundraising for a TNR project including vaccination and medical care for stray and abandoned cats in Bali. I started my TNR projects independently in 2015 and my first started up was street feedings as I go and fixing in the neighborhood where we live. From there, I've reached larger area with my family members voluntering, giving some information about the health benefits of spaying and neutering to the local community, helping those who can't afford to get their pets fixed and using our house as a temporary "clinic" everytime we have sterilization day.

For years, I am unable to spread the word about this project in fear people will abandon their cats in my yard for me to take care of (they eventually still do anyway). I want to help many more but I can't do this alone.

Bali has had enough emergency strays situation. With a lot of unfixed cats, cats being hit and killed by cars or scooters, overpopulated and the breeders (keep breed their cats and dogs) or the communities have done nothing to get the cats/dogs fixed nor medical attentions. It's sad, really..
I'm heartbroken seeing cats and dogs living outside suffering, with no food, medical care and a shelter. Unfixed cats or dogs behaviors only cause problems in community. When the cats spraying marking their territory can only cause more animal abuses around the island. Moving or transporting cats or dogs and leave them the middle of nowhere is definitely NOT a solution. We often carried the death cats that we found on the street and have them buried well in our property.

Rescuing sick and dying cats, senior cats, dumped kittens from the street, provide them foods, shelter and medical attention and they are now ended up living happy and healthy in our house in Bali. but again, I only can do so much. I want to keep continuing this project.
My goals is to do sterilization as much as possible, and to build a sanctuary for the abandoned animals one day. I want to give them the life they deserve, with no worry the population will spreading bad.

I rely on your help and supports. I believe we all have the power to make a difference. I do believe, together we can do better and saving more lives.

With $15, you are sponsoring 1 cat for being neutered, $25 for a cat being spayed, with vaccinations and medical attention needed for $35 or even $3 for a small bag of cat food. Every bit helps.

Any help is appreciated, with 100 % of the money raised going directly towards the cats we are helping. All the people involved are volunteers, leaving the vet fees ( at a discounted rate) food and vaccinations as the only expense.

I will be in Bali again on November though February 2023 and hoping to give back to those who need it most by doing mass sterilization and medical care on my birth month, November 2022. we appreciate your help and support.

Bali Thanks You!
