We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved father, Johnathan Ezra Soffer, who died suddenly on August 3rd, 2024 after collapsing on the side of the road. Our father was a man of strength and kindness, touching the lives of everyone he met with his generous spirit and love. His unique larger-than-life personality and kindhearted soul will be missed by us all.

Our goal is to raise $21,000 to ensure that our father receives a proper and respectful farewell in accordance with Jewish customs and beliefs, which includes the costs associated with the funeral arrangements, including a traditional Jewish burial, a tombstone to honor his memory, and a cemetery plot where he will rest in peace.
