TO ACQUIRE A PLACE OF WORSHIP

Thank you for accepting to support the Sydney-Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Church, Australia to acquire a permanent worship place in Sydney. Sydney-Ghana SDA Church, a member congregation of the Worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, was organised seven (7) years ago in Sydney by some dedicated Ghanaian Adventists to serve the Ghanaian community in NSW and the entire South Pacific region through networking, evangelism, religious and socio-developmental activities. With God's direction and support of members, the church has grown in size and network among Ghanaian Adventist in Sydney and Australia wide respectively. With an average membership growth of 35% annually through baptism and immigration, place of worship and meetings is now a big challenge. In the last 2 years, the church has moved places more than 3 times, as a result affecting meetings, activities and purpose. Also with the emergence of COVID'19, hiring of venue for our programs and activities has become really difficult for us even after easing of restrictions in Sydney . In light of this challenge, Sydney-Ghana SDA church has moved to settle its members and consolidate its mission work by acquiring a property in Sydney. This initiative has been launched with a starting amount of AUD $65,000 contributed by church members.
