To Celebrate A Life Well Lived: Len Kozinski

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Katelyn Kozinski and I am one of the daughters of Len Kozinski. On August 23rd, I lost one of my best friends, my Dad. Our family is devastated, but we want to honor him and his legacy.

For the last two and a half years, my Dad valiantly braved a cancer diagnosis. He was one of the strongest people I have ever met. Never once did he let on how hard his journey was. Never once did he give up or falter, no matter how difficult things got for him.

My father lived a life of service. For 35 years, he worked as a social worker and special education teacher serving the families of Chicago. He was always trying to give the community children a better life. Most recently, he spent his time as a special education teacher at Camelot School, now High Road School of Mount Prospect, a Specialized Education Service, Inc. At this school, he dedicated his life to helping children with special needs, emotional and behavioral issues, as well as other disabilities. He made a significant impact on everyone at his school. All of his students loved "Mr. Len" almost as much as he loved them, and that is saying a lot.

To honor my father and his legacy, my family is raising money for the American Cancer Society in honor of my father's journey with cancer and for Camelot School. With your help, we can honor my father by donating to cancer research and to his old workplace to help his amazing students. Donations to his school can be used for updates, supplies, and many other ways to help the kids he so dearly loved. I cannot think of a better way to honor my father than to donate to his past place of employment in memory of him.

My dad was a big man with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was always willing to help people in need. He would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. In lieu of flowers, please help me and my family honor my father by donating to help us continue his legacy of giving back to his community.

Thank you for your love and support during this extremely difficult time!

P.S.
If you wish for your donation to be contributed to a specific charity, please note that in the description. Thank you again for your help and consideration!
