‘To Do List’ 16mm Student Short Film

Hi everyone! We are very excited to officially announce ‘To Do List’, a short 16mm film made by six Swinburne Film and Television students.

The film surrounds a 15-year-old Layla who, in denial over her grandmother’s death, doesn’t agree with her parents about where to scatter her ashes and eventually takes matters into her own hands. Written and directed by Ophelia Murray, this short film grapples with the idea of grief from the perspective of someone unfamiliar with the toll that it can take on you.

The funds raised for the film will go towards purchasing the 16mm film stock and will help with our production design, equipment hire, and set catering. If you choose to become one of our lovely donors, you will receive a special mention in the end credits of ‘To Do List’.
