To Fund A Large And COVID Friendly Rehearsal Space

The Rothwell Temperance Band like many brass bands have felt the full impact of the pandemic with loss of income from concerts and other fund raising events, In addition the band are unable to return to their rehearsal facility at the Stanley Rodillian Rugby Club due to the space required because of the 2 metre COVID rule. To allow the rehearsals to start once restrictions are lifted, the band will have to hire much larger venues that are costly, and this also means vans have to be hired to transport percussion equipment.

Christmas is normally a very busy time for the band when many high profile concerts are performed, however this year this has not been the case.

In order to bring a little festive cheer 6 members of the band will be performing carols around Rothwell on Christmas Day morning and anyone who would like to donate can do so online.
