Hello, my name is Jane Bray. I am fundraising for my younger brother Andrew John, more well known as AJ. A lot of you may know him but to those of you who do not, AJ is one of those people who others flock to. He has a wonderful charisma and a great sense of humor plus he is a wonderful father to his 5 kids. AJ has been diagnosed with Hepatic Encephalopathy, Hyper Ammonemia, Hyponatremia, low blood pressure, Esophageal Varices, and Acities. Each complication on its own is problematic. While surgery is not a cure, it will increase his quality of life for the long term. Recently he was scheduled for surgery and the insurance was ready to pay for it. Unfortunately when he got to the hospital the day of his TIPS surgery, he was told that the surgery was not going to take place and that his insurance had pulled out. Without this surgery, my brother’s life would be far from enjoyable. I am asking for anyone who sees this and is able or willing, please feel free to offer us a hand. Our family would be nothing less than grateful to you for helping us through this troubling time. Even if you cannot donate, please take the time to spread the word with a share. Anything is helpful.
