Support Forgotten Orphaned Children Across the World
Donation protected
My name is Aaliyah, I’m 32 and a mother of 2 children. I’m a Muslim revert of 15 years from the UK in London and the CEO of a charity called Holding Hearts for forgotten orphans founded in 2024 after raising over £50,000+ to help families evacuate Palestine before the border closing.
I’ve told you a bit about myself prior to explaining in more detail the reason for this go fund me page so you know who you are speaking with and contributing to. My Instagram is aaliyahmujahideen for if you wish to further learn more about me and keep up with who I am and what I do. So many charities lack authenticity in regards to allowing people to get to know who’s behind them. I wish to connect with you all, grow a relationship and continue to further progress for children who need continuous and urgent relief or help.
This go fund me has been made to raise money for the forgotten Orphaned children that are currently in my care and heart and have been overlooked or unseen by mainstream charity’s. With the current wars in the world the number of orphans are rising as children are loosing their parents every hour, every day.
There are 63 children I’m currently doing my best to support in New Gambia in an Orphanage that rely on me for food, clothes, medical expenses, schooling equipment, companionship and genuine love. This is some of them.

The complex they live in isn’t environmentally safe for children but with the love of God and an enthusiastic attitude they are still happy and grateful for everything they do have if you wish to see exactly how the children are living at the moment until we can raise more funds to accommodate them properly please visit Holdinghearts__ on instagram you will find constant updates on the children and the progress we are making and wish to make.

This is my beloved Khadija and Bakary. They are cousins and take care of the younger children at the orphanage providing them with mangoes and whatever else they con collect from the bush that takes them over 90 mins in walking. Without financial support this is all they have access to alongside baked bread and milk from the cows. They provide them also with lessons in Maths, English and Quran studies every day. They are only 18 and 19 and should be living normal lives like every other teenager but yet they still remain grateful regardless and continue to try to be responsible for a number of young children with what resources they have.
There are a few adults that live in neighbouring villages and try to support them how they can from time to time but resources are limited for everyone in New Gambia so it’s never consistent.
Recently I managed to purchase them a donkey to help transport food and fire wood daily from the bush as regardless of the weather they travel every day for food so this purchase has made things much easier for them. We’re still waiting to provide them with a cart so Bakary can use it for work and earn some money to help support Khadijah, the orphanage and himself.

Your current donations will go towards:
• Buying them a cart for their donkey
• Providing them with bunk beds, mattresses and blankets as they currently only have foam pads to which 5 children share a single and most are young and still bed wetting so they have to be washed daily by Khadijah
• Clothes and shoes as they only have minimal clothing to share
• Most importantly providing them with food. They can survive on $200 a month that’s a big bag of rice, vegetables, flour, eggs and bottles of clean drinking water. They currently get their water from a well they dug themselves which doesn’t provide the cleanest or safest water but they are still grateful.
I'm currently in the middle of packaging a barrel of supplies for the kids including clothes, shoes and underwear, schooling equipment, toys, hygiene equipment, blankets and solar lights as there is no electricity (They charge their phone using a solar charger and have access to a e sim) so it’s very dark in the night also nets to protect the kids from mosquitoes as their bites are dangerous and many carry malaria and other diseases.
Once the priorities are taken care of I plan to help them completely revamp the compound and make it somewhere safe and sustainable for the children to reside in but this will be a much bigger project hopefully with the help and support of you all.
For more pictures and videos and to see how the children are currently living please check holdinghearts__ on Instagram where you can meet all the children, see their beautiful bush they visit daily, where they live, how they cope and you can also meet Charlie the donkey :) and just show them some love and support it really goes a long way.
Soon on instagram I’m going to be sharing some heartfelt stories from my kids on how they actually became orphans just so you can all get to know them personally by their names and their backgrounds as they’re all incredible children and deserve to be heard and held by the heart for who they are as individuals.
If you stayed reading to the end may God bless you and reward you and your family with goodness. THANK YOU in advance for any money you wish to donate or any support you choose to show it’s all welcome and very much appreciated.
Our love goes out to you all!
