To help Rhys and his family

Hi, my name is Shelley I have started this page to raise money for a very close friend and her family.
Rhys is a 15 year old boy who is always happy and cheeky who loves his gaming. Unfortunately, Rhys became very poorly resulting in a very lengthy time in hospital.
On Tuesday 2nd August 2022 their son Rhys fell ill vomiting blood and was taken to Poole hospital he was then transferred to King's college children's variety hospital on Wednesday 3rd August via Blue light ambulance.
Rhys underwent Endoscopy's to try and discover the cause of this. He was discharged from King's college hospital at lunchtime on Saturday 6th August.
On the evening of Saturday 6th August Rhys took a rapid turn which resulted in him being taken back to Poole hospital, again he was then transferred by blue light ambulance back to King's college hospital on Sunday 7th August.
Rhys again then underwent more Endoscopy's to discover the cause of these episodes he was having. The cause for this is Esophageal varices . Rhys was then discharged and sent back home on Thursday 11th August. He seemed to be doing alot better and was happy to be home. Later that night he suffered a massive bleed loosing 4.5 litres of blood needing an emergency Endoscopy.
Unfortunately, on Friday 12th August Rhys at 4.30am I revieved a phone call to inform me that Rhys had taken a rapid turn and was taken into surgery again at Poole hospital. This resulted in Rhys being placed into a Coma on life support and air lifted back to King's college hospital. Then on Saturday 13th August he was taken for a 4 hour operation to inject the worst of the bleeding veins and remove blood clots along with Balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration it was also doscovered the Rhys liver has taken a big hit and he now has liver disease. Monday 15th August Rhys was taken off ventilation and stable again.
He was then discharged and sent home again on Saturday 20th August. He again was over the moon to be home in his own bed with his xbox set up ready to play Fortnight.
On Monday 22nd August at 5.20pm I recieved a phone call to say that Rhys was poorly again and an ambulance was on its way, he was taken straight back to Poole hospital as his levels were very high and he was again vomiting blood.
He was then transferred back to Kings college hospital on Tuesday 23rd August.
Wednesday 24th August, at 3am he had another Endoscopy with glue not attaching and dispersing out with the pressure so balloon back in and on life support and moved to itu. He has undergone a 8 hour operation to have a Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt this is placing stents into the veins to help relieve the pressure of the blood flow through the diseased liver. The liver disease is most likely caused by a blockage which has messaged the blood can not get through from his spleen to his liver.
Rhys is now in itu at King's college hospital following the operation and we are waiting for updates.
As you can imagine this is a situation that nobody should have to go through with their child and is any parents worst nightmare. This has left both Rhys mum and dad being unable to work due to being at his bedside and also Rhys three siblings having to stay away from home with friends and family which has been distressing for them all.
I am sure you will all agree this is a awful time for the family with cost of fuel, accommodation and buying food whilst staying in hotels etc by King's college hospital.
I would like to raise funds to help the family make transformations to their house, help cover their bills and hopefully be able to have a small break away they all deserve.
They would also like to thank Ronald McDonald charity house camberwell for their support for their stay last admission and this time too.
Thank you all
