Why I'm fundraising

On December 5th 2022 Dad got told that he had Cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the liver/bile ducts). With a plan laid out in front of us he put on hus positive pants and was ready to tackle the road ahead.

Going through various rounds of chemotherapy and trying out a trial drug he was able to lead a normal life and more importantly enjoy himself. Of which he spent many more weeks and months creating and sharing memories with all of his friends and family.

Since knowing about dad's diagnosis, we also got informed about friends who are also going through a similar situation.

Cancer Research is so vital to us on a personal level. Being able to do clinical trials which will help others going forwards.
