To help with ‘Boring’ Bob Grover’s funeral .

My name is Janet, one of Bob’s sisters and I’m raising funds for my lovely brothers funeral and to give him a good send off.

He sadly and unexpectedly passed away on Christmas Eve eve of 2024 , leaving behind his devastated family, friends, and fans .We only found out a week later as everything stops for Xmas.He was a great brother, and uncle who disliked any injustice , he was funny, witty and generous, a truly genuine person who lived for his music.

Unfortunately he developed tendinitis and arthritis towards the end of his life and could no longer play .

Bobs guitars and musical equipment are being sold to help raise funds to go towards the eventual costs,,,but any help no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.

Details of his funeral and memorial gig which is being organised by ex Piranha Johnny Helmer will be posted on his Facebook page as soon as we know the final details.

I’ve posted a link to the Piranhas playing their best known song ‘Tom Hark’ on Top of the Pops from 1980 so you can all see them having fun with their great friend Richard ‘Dicke Slexia’ Adland on drums who sadly passed in 2018
