Like many of you, I know and love Lee Scruggs. Whether as your child’s coach for basketball or baseball, as the long-time director of AYS in Appomattox, or as DJ “Doc” Lee, spinning the tunes at a wedding or Night to Shine, Lee has blessed the Appomattox community for years with his faithful and selfless love and service.
Now it’s our turn to bless him and his family back!
Lee had Heart Bypass surgery today and faces a long, slow and hard road to recovery. BUT he is a fighter, and we look forward to having him back stronger than ever!
We all know the devastating financial impact that major medical treatment, and taking a hiatus from work, can have. As Lee works on his recovery, this “love offering” is just a way to show our support to him in love and gratitude for all that he has done for our community.
Let’s please amaze Lee and his family with our love and generosity. Whatever anyone can give will be greatly appreciated, regardless of the amount.
