To help with repairs, and operational costs

The Norwood Legion is one of the oldest standing Legion structures in the province of Alberta and maybe in Canada.  The Executive of this legion would like to maintain this Historic Landmark in Canadian Legion History. The Norwood Legion, like many other nonprofits, was hit hard with financial stress from Covid and aging internal infrastructure.  This has in turn compromised the Legion  financial support to our Eldest Veterans, newer veterans and our newest addition, the First responders.  We also provide community support  by providing hall rentals and gathering places to all people in our community and in Edmonton for family Celebrations and other needs.  Our parking capability lends itself very well for training, meeting and conferences for the business community. We are here to help one another.  Anyone can attend attend all the event at the Norwood legion or participate in any of our activities. We do look for new members to join our Legion and help it grow into one of the most known and respected Legions in Canada. 

We are looking for support and help so in turn we can continue to provide a safe and amazing experience all our members and future visitors all our events and activities that come to the Historic Norwood Legion #178.
