To honor our friend Brian Miluszusky

Our dear friend, colleague, brother, and beloved husband, Brian Miluszusky, has passed. Brian was an iconic leader and role model, larger than life in his years at NYP. He led the ED with fierce tenacity, humility, and empathy. He was a tireless confidante and advisor to countless people. His door was always open and he never tired of giving advice or offering kind and honest wisdom. Brian gave generously to his career as a nurse leader in emergency medicine, but his true passion and love were reserved unconditionally for his wife of 21 years, Doris Korona, and his dogs Abbey, Emma Mae, and most recently, Coco. These were his family and his heart.

In recent years, Emma Mae has had a rare sarcoma requiring costly chemotherapy infusions. There were no boundaries Brian would not hurdle for his family. Your generosity to this gofundme will help to support Emma Mae’s therapy and other funeral expenses.

On December 16, 2022, Brian shared his love, kindness, and selflessness through organ donation, to save other lives. His honor will live on in them, and his legacy will live in the countless lives he touched, elevated, and healed, throughout his career.
